Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT WILLIAM SHARP (BILL) October 8, 1918 - March 15, 2004 Peacefully, after a battle with lung and liver cancer, with his family beside him, he went home to be with Jesus his Saviour at Riverview Health Centre. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Marjorie; three sons, Albert, Rod, Gary; four daughters, Theresa, Brenda, Marlene, Tracy; 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary and Eva, numerous sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Albert was a man who believed in hard work. He had a handshake you never forgot! Albert loved to tease the ladies as they passed by his front yard. The neighbourhood children often came by to say "Hi" and get cookies from him. He loved to feed the birds and all stray cats and dogs. When you came to visit, he would tell stories of his life for hours and feed you. You never left his table hungry or thirsty. His three buddie (dogs), Sarah, Peanut and Muzzy, will miss him very much. Thanks to Riverview Health E3 Palliative Care nurses and doctors for their care, as well as Hospice Care for their compassion and support to our family at this difficult time. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 19 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. "Dad - we can hear you playing your harmonica from Heaven!"
