Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE MAE DONOHUE (nee McDONALD) Passed away with her family by her side at the Central Park Lodge on March 19, 2004, at the age of 72. Anne was born November 7, 1931, in the province of Nova Scotia. She was one of 11 siblings. At the age of 15 years old after finishing grade nine, she had to leave school to take care of her mom who suffered from Rheumatic Fever. This consumed much of Annes time. It also instilled in her the attitude to work hard, take care of family, be responsible and have the desire to help anyone with anything at any time. These characteristics assisted her many years later when her dad passed away. Anne was predeceased by George Palmer, the love of her life for 27 years. Also two previous husbands, Jerry Moore and Francis Donohue; her sister Marry-Anne; her brothers, Charlie Angus, John Hugh, Angus Lawrence, Joe McDonald; her parents, Angus and Theresa McDonald. Also predeceased by sister-in-law Florence and Syrl Palmer. Anne is survived by her two children, Todd and Jerry Donohue; four grandchildren; brother Murdock McDonald; and four sisters, Kay Frazer, Hellen Mader, Margaret Capstick, and Lillian Burton. Between the siblings Mom is survived by 26 nephews and nieces. Anne is also survived by Margaret, Marge, Joice, Audrey, their children and countless friends throughout her life. Anne volunteered her time with various community clubs, churches and other functions. She loved to bake and was famous for her pizza and tea biscuits, just to mention a few. Anne will be missed by all who knew her. Her family would like to deeply thank the staff and residents at the Central Park Lodge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society or Dementia research.
