Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALFRED ABRAHAM FRANSSEN On Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at the Health Sciences Centre, Alfred Franssen, 73 years. Alfred was born on March 12, 1931 to a family of six brothers and three sisters on a farm in Turtle Mountain, MB. He moved to Roblin Municipal in 1936 to attend school at East Mountain. Alfred quit school at the age of fourteen to work on the farm at Genbro from 1952 until 1960. He came to Winnipeg for health reasons in 1960 and worked at Dominion Tanner from February 1961 until July 1989 and retired for health reasons in 1990. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 23 at 1:00 p.m. in the Garry Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Garry Memorial Park.
