Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNICK OLENKO December 9, 1922 - March 15, 2004 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of our dear father and grandfather. Peacefully on March 15, 2004 at SOGH, after a six week stay, at age 81. He is predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Anna in 1990. Born in Iwacziw, Ternopil Ukraine he lived and worked in Germany, England and Toronto before finally settling in Winnipeg. He leaves to mourn, his children, Peter, Vera (Hossam), Jerry (Janice) and grandchildren, Adam, Nadia and Trevor. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge for the care of our father before his illness. A private service was held on Friday at Holy Family Cemetery. We will always remember our father as a man with a great sense of humour who enjoyed the simple things in life like walking around the neighbourhood and talking to friends. Thanks to all our friends for their kind and thoughtful words of sympathy. We will cherish these memories and our love for him will stay in our hearts forever. Vichnaya Pamyat
