Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryURSULA H. (BONSEL) FRASER August 26, 1952 - March 20, 2004 It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved wife, mother and daughter, Ursula. Memories of her will be cherished by her husband of 27 years, Leo; her daughters, Colleen and Andrea; her parents, Rudy and Thea Bonsel; her special dog Cooper; and many other relatives and friends. Ursula, the only daughter of Rudy and Thea, was born in Koblenz, Germany where she spent the first five years of her life. In 1957 they travelled to Canada and made Winnipeg their new home. Many happy summers were spent camping around Manitoba and at their cottage in Camp Morton. After graduating high school, Ursula returned to Germany where she worked, and spent time travelling the Middle East and Asia. Shortly after returning home to Winnipeg, she met and fell in love with Leo. They were married on August 21, 1976 in St. Ignatius Church. In 1980, Colleen was born and was soon followed by Andrea in 1982. Ursula cherished the time she spent with her family and socializing with friends. She loved to travel and spent many days in the car with her husband and daughters exploring Canada and the United States. She also valued education, achieving a Certificate in Architectural Drafting in 1975, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995. Ursula was a dedicated wife who loved and supported her husband unconditionally. She was a devoted mother who taught her daughters, through her courage and determination, to be strong and independent. She was a loving daughter who treasured and respected her parents very much. Her family would like to thank all the friends and care givers, especially Emilie and Linda, who have supported them throughout the years, and would also like to give special recognition to the staff at the Repos Jolys and St. Pierre Hospital. They would also like to request that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Ursulas name. There will be a viewing at 6:30 p.m. followed by a vigil prayer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, and a funeral mass on Thursday, March 25 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a luncheon, all at Christ the King Church, 847 St. Marys Rd. The Desjardins Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 233-4949 or toll free 1-888-233-4949. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.obitbulkloaduariestoday.com.
