Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTONIO MOISES MOURA With great sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father Antonio on March 19, 2004 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 57 years. He will be greatly missed by his wife Aurora of 31 years; his daughter Myriame and son-in-law Michael Orloff; his son Jason and girlfriend Sylvia; brothers, Simao (Zira) and Salustiano (Formosa) who reside in Portugal. He also leaves to mourn his loss numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father and mother Salustiano Moura and Ambrozina Dias, his father-in-law Damiao Oliveira, and his mother-in-law Ana De Jesus. Antonio was born in Avintes, Gaia, Portugal on July 8, 1946. He immigrated to Canada in 1973 where he married and raised his family. His last few years he worked for the Winnipeg School Division #1 as a custodian where he enjoyed his work and his coworkers. He was a dedicated family man and was happiest when surrounded by his wife and children. He was very proud of his culture and was an active member in the Portuguese community and church, always willing to help his friends and family. Antonio loved to spend time at the Portuguese Campground, a love he shared with his family and friends. Antonio had a passion for life, an easy-going attitude, a remarkable sense of humour that touched the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing him. The family would like to thank all their friends and family for their support and prayers, as well as the Emergency and Bereavment staff at Health Sciences Centre. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, March 23, at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 24, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. with Rev. Fr. Jose Eduardo Medeiros officiating. Interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery at the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. Pallbearers are Eduardo Soares, Mario Soares, Roberto Soares, Afonso Diogo, John Lopes, Rolando Camaclang, Jose Alves and Jose Rocha.
