RAYMOND OWEN ROBERTS April 14, 1959 - March 17, 2004 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Raymond Owen Roberts on March 17, 2004. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother Joan Roberts; his brother Wayne and (Julianna) Roberts; his sister Heather and (Allan) Hamaberg; his five nephews, Derek, Adam, Mathew, Owen and Patrick and his one niece, Melissa. Raymond also leaves to mourn numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many lifelong friends. Raymond was predeceased by his father, Owen Roberts in 1990. Ray was very involved in his job as a Manitoba Hydro worker, where he was employed for the past 17 years, and this is where he formed many valuable friendships. Ray enjoyed the simple things in life and was always the gracious host of his Shoal Lake Lodge. The family would like to express their appreciation to Jake and Heather Doerkson, Wayne and Brenda Hamaberg, Bob and Pat Roberts, Howard Hilstrom, Johnny Harasymko, Ralph Hazelton, Bill McKague, Dr. Grogan and the R.C.M.P. In accordance with his wishes, Ray has been cremated and there will be no funeral service held. There will be a private celebration of his life on a later date.
