ETHEL LEOCHKO (nee STERNAT) Peacefully, in her sleep, Ethel passed away on March 20, 2004 at the age of 77 years. Ethel was predeceased by her son, Jim, in 2002. Her memory will be forever cherished by her loving husband of 58 years, Peter; children, Doreen MacLean (Jerry), and Janette Stephenson (Larry) grandchildren, Melanie MacLean-Fehr (Brian), Matthew and Jared Stephenson; great-grandchildren, Adam and Shane Fehr; as well as many other family members. We are visitors on this planet. We are here for 90 or 100 years, at the very most. During that period we must try to do something good, something useful with our lives. If you contribute to other peoples happiness, you will find the true goal the true meaning of life. "Thank you Mom" Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, #200-6 Donald St., R3L 0K6, or to a charity of ones choice.
