Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA JEAN BRIDGES December 19, 1936 - March 22, 2004 After a courageous struggle with cancer, our loving mother sadly but peacefully passed away at home on March 22, 2004. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, sons, grandchildren, brother, aunt, cousins, extended family and friends. Her thoughtful ways, selfless acts of kindness, zest for life and beautiful smile will be remembered by us all. Pat was born and lived the majority of her life in Winnipeg. She attended school at St. Ignatius and St. Marys Academy. She spent most of her working years employed by Canada Trust, Revenue Canada and the Kinsmen Reh-Fit Centre in the field of accounting. Her faith, values, strength, love and devotion allowed her to overcome many obstacles, balance family and work, and always provide the best for her children. Pat lived every day of her life putting others before herself. She had a joyful spirit and an outgoing personality. She made friends easily, wherever she was. Her creative talents were evident in all the wonderful things she did, from her crafts to her gardening. Pat was an amazing woman who will forever remain in our hearts and live on in our spirits. "We love you, and we will miss you dearly, Mom." The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the palliative and home care teams for all their care and compassion, especially Dr. Janice Mulder and nurses, Janice and Jo. Funeral services were held at the St. Johns Brebeuf Church in River Heights on Friday, March 26. In honour of Pats memory, donations may be made to the WRHA Palliative Care Program, A8024 - 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
