LUCILLE MARIE CECILE DESROSIERS Peacefully this first day of spring, Sunday, March 21, 2004, our beloved mother, Lucille Marie Cecile Desrosiers, left this world at the age of 69 years to claim her wings. Daughter of Auguste Desrosiers and Marie-Anne Cote, Lucille grew up in Ste. Anne-des-Chenes and spent many of her childhood summers in St. Norbert with her grandmother Melina (Cote) Richot nee Cloutier. After completing her studies at Normal School, Lucille went to teach in the N.W.T. where she met and married Roland Salmon. Her memory will be cherished by her children, Gaetan Salmon, Helene Fisette (Mark), Francois Salmon (April), Michel Salmon (Maryse) and Rheal Salmon; her seven beloved grandchildren, Chantal, Louis, Henri, Marielle, Catherine, Marc-Andre and Sasha; her Godchild Anita Kruk; her siblings and sisters-in-law, Therese Legare, Annette Bouchard (Roland), Helene Brooks (Lorne), Angele Mignon (Jean) and Jean Desrosiers, Laura and Colleen Desrosiers; as well as numerous nephews and nieces and the Salmon Family in France. She was predeceased by two sons, Bernard and Joseph; her parents; her brothers, Maurice and Paul Desrosiers; sister-in-law Alice Desrosiers and brother-in-law Roger Legare. Sincere thanks to the wonderful medical team and volunteers at the St. Boniface General Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion, and also to all the friends and family who visited Lucille. Friends and family may pay their final respects on Wednesday, March 24 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 25 at 4:00 p.m. at the Precieux-Sang Roman Catholic Church, 200 Kenny Street.
