JEANNE DARC St. ONGE (nee ROBERT) Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, with her family by her side Jeanne dArc St. Onge passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2004. Jeanne dArc was predeceased by her father Stanislas Robert; mother Gabrielle; brothers, Ovide and Edward. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Paul of 53 years; her daughters, Gisele and Paulette (Kevin) and special granddaughter Nicole. She also leaves her brother and sisters, Therese, Gabrielle (Karen), Simone (Adelard), Rita, Frank (Doris), Aurore (Robert) and Berthe (Herman) brother-in-law Gerard St. Onge (Claudette) and sisters-in-law, Denise and Eileen Robert and Flore St. Onge; many friends and relatives. Jeanne dArc was born on August 14, 1930 in Aubigny, MB. She touched the lives of many throughout the years and even when she was not feeling well she always had a way of making everyone smile. Jeanne dArc was a very generous and giving person, always thinking of others first and herself last. Her family meant everything to her. The family wishes to thank Dr. P. Erhard and the staff of 6A at St. Boniface Hospital for taking such good care of "our Mom". Special thank you to the staff from home care for their care and compassion. Prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 25 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. with viewing at 6:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26 at St. Boniface Cathedral with Fr. Paul Campeau presiding. Interment of the cremated remains will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Society Canada, Manitoba Region, 204-825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1M5.
