SHIRLEY DAWN EVANS It is with great sadness that the family of Shirley Evans announces her sudden passing on March 22, 2004, at the Grace Hospital at the age of 77 years. Memories of her will be cherished by her husband of 54 years, George; her daughter Susan (Tom) Middleton; son David; daughter Jennifer and grandchildren, Ashleigh and Scott Middleton. She will also be missed by her sister; brothers and many other family members and friends. Born in Portage la Prairie, raised in Neepawa, Shirley served in the CWAC in 1945 and 1946. She met and married George in Brandon and started her family. Later they moved to Fort William, then finally settled in Winnipeg where they remained and completed their family. The family would like to sincerely thank the doctors and staff at the Grace Hospital for their kindness, consideration and care. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 27, at 2:30 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave. (entrance on Aubrey Street). In lieu of flowers, donations may by made to the Grace General Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Drive, Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3M7 or to a charity of ones choice. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
