ANNE PEROZIK (SABESKI)

ANNE PEROZIK (nee SABESKI) Peacefully, on March 21, 2004 at Concordia Hospital, Anne Perozik passed away at the age of 88 years. Anne was born in Roblin, MB on December 23, 1915. In 1937 she married her husband Andrew and resided in the Inglis-Russell area until 1948. They moved to Winnipeg and operated several grocery stores and restaurants until they both retired in 1979. Anne will be greatly missed by her son Louie (Wanda) Perozik and daughter Burnice (Douglas) Lunney; granddaughters, Tracey Perozik and Kristen Perozik; sisters, Frances and Mary (Nick) brothers, Alex (Emily) and Adolph (Deanna) sisters-in-law, Lucy and Jennie and numerous nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her husband Andrew; son Lawrence; parents, Max and Lillian Sabeski; in-laws, Peter and Katherine Perozik; brothers, Michael and Matthew Sabeski; and brothers-in-law, Louis Penonzek and Mike Perozik; and nephew Barry Sabeski. The family extends special thanks to the staff at Holy Family Nursing Home and Concordia Hospital. Prayers will be said on Thursday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, March 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Munroe Ave. and Watt St. with Rev. Fr. Darren Kawiuk officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Annes memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
