BETTY ROSE ANDERSON April 19, 1904 - March 23, 2004 Peacefully at River East Personal Care Home mother passed away March 23. She was predeceased by her loving husband Siggi October 19, 1986. Her daughter-in-law June and great-granddaughter Melissa Rae Short. Left to cherish her memory is her son Ralph and her grandchildren, Brian (Yvonne) Anderson from Calgary, Scott (Janice) Anderson, Susan (Gary) Short; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Kyle Short, Charla and Ryan Anderson; as well as many nephews and nieces. Mother was born in Pleasant Home, MB. She left home at an early age to work in Banff AB, where she met her soul mate and returned to Winnipeg, and was married in 1927. She was a very gifted seamstress and took great pride in designing wedding dresses and bridesmaid gowns. In keeping with mothers wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. The family would like to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff at River East personal care for their wonderful compassionate care they gave to mother.
