JOSEPH HOLLINS Peacefully on March 21, 2004 at The Deer Lodge Centre, Joseph Hollins passed away in his 100th year. Born in England, Joseph emigrated to Winnipeg as a young boy with his parents, Charles and Lottie Hollins, to settle in Kirkfield Park (now St. James), where he remained. Predeceased by his parents; sister Rose (Sansome) and brother George. Survived by sister Phyllis (Lawson) of Victoria, BC; sister-in-law Alice (George) Hollins; many nieces and nephews and their families. He worked from a young age at a variety of jobs, joined the R.C.A.F. and served overseas during the Second World War, returning to work for the Federal Government until his retirement. He was a skilled and avid golfer until his 90s. He was well liked by all he knew and will be sorely missed. We extend our sincere thanks to families and friends who visited, and to the nursing staff on T-7 at The Deer Lodge Centre who made his suffering more endurable. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service to be announced at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the charity of your own choice. LEATHERDALE GARDINER 1858 Portage Avenue 949-4872
