CHARLIE BROWN Peacefully, on Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at the Health Sciences Centre, Charlie Brown, aged 95 went to be with his Lord and Saviour. While working for the Department of Transport in Sioux Lookout, Thunder Bay, Churchill and Winnipeg as an air traffic controller, he fellowshipped at various Baptist churches. Charlie and his dear wife Margaret served in various capacities in both music and teaching, including radio ministry. In his capacity as air traffic controller, he rose to the position of supervisor, from which he retired in 1973. Charlie leaves his wife Margaret, one brother Glenn and wife Helen and many friends to mourn his passing. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 29 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, gifts to Bethel Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 205 Roseberry St., Winnipeg, MB R3J 1T3 are welcome.
