ANNIE MAY MACKAY (nee POLLOCK) Anne passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 25, 2004 at Deer Lodge Centre. Predeceased by her husband Donald in July, 2002, she is survived by her daughter Barbara and son-in-law Steve Urias; grandchildren, Stephen (Mindy Epp) Urias and Lisa (Lance) Ludwig; and great-grandsons, Noah and Gavin Ludwig. She is also survived by her brother Bert Pollock of Peachland BC; and sisters, Hazel Schwass of Airdrie, AB and Stella Keele of Winnipeg. Anne was born in Wadena, SK in 1913. She moved to Winnipeg and took her nurses training at St. Boniface Hospital. After graduation she married Donald MacKay with whom she shared 60 wonderful years. She was a member of The St. Boniface Registered Nurses Alumnae Association, The Missionettes and St. Stephens Church. After retirement, her passions were her family especially her grandchildren Stephen and Lisa, her quilting and sewing and in recent years her great-grandsons. The family would like to thank the staff at Deer Lodge (E4) for their exceptional care and compassion during her short stay. A memorial service will take place on Friday, April 2, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephens Church, 220 Helmsdale Ave. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, Manitoba Chapter, P.O.
