RICHARD (DICK) H. A. BROCKLEHURST July 3, 1923 - March 25, 2004 Peacefully, after a short illness, Dick passed away on March 25 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 80 years. His memory will be cherished by wife Shirley; sister Lily (England) his three children, Murray (Carol), Loraine (Doug), Sandra (Todd) stepchildren, Paul (Leslie), Kim (Archie) and ten grandchildren. He was predeceased by his twin sister Betty in January 2004. Born in England, Dick and his family immigrated to Winnipeg in 1965 and he was employed at Bristol Aerospace until his retirement in 1989. Dick always enjoyed life to the fullest, whether on the golf course or enjoying a beer and a good conversation with his many friends. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Dicks life will be held at 35 Bluewater Cres. (phone 237-6391) on Sunday, March 28 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation or a charity of ones choice.
