Divine Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, March 31 at 11:30 a.m. in the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 6594 Henderson Hwy. with the Very Rev. Fr. Henry Lakusta officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the churchyard cemetery. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Caners, the nurses and medical staff at the Concordia Hospital. How very, very lucky we were that you were our Mother. You opened our minds and our hearts. You always had the time to tell us a story or sing us a song. You always picked us up when we fell down. You will always be the most important lady in our lives. Your love and guidance will always be with us. We wish you could have been with us longer, but we are so grateful for the time we had. All of us, your friends and family will truly miss you. Thank you so much for being our mother. May God care for you as you did for us. Mom - We will love you always and will miss you dearly. May you rest in peace. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lenas memory can be sent to the St Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church, in care of Alex Pawluk, 6957 Henderson Hwy., Lockport, MB, R1B 1A4.
