Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOUIS JOHN HABINSKI Peacefully on March 25, 2004, Louis passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital with dignity and respect at the age of 71 years after a long and painful bout of cancer. Louis is survived by his soul mate and best friend of 32 years + Doreen; "The Ladies" Lucky and Squeeks; the mother of his children Leona; children, Edna (Larry), Louis, Teresa (Joe), David and Merna; grandchildren, Melanie (Grace), Angie (Ron), Sandy, Shannon (Sean), Larry (Amber), Michael, Chris (Christine), Terri-Lynn, Candace, Joey, Carly, Dave, Jenny and Billy; great-grandchildren, Jesse, Cassandra, Tyler, Chelsea, Chantel, Phoenix, Mackenzie, McKayla, Chase and other relatives. He was predeceased by parents and also his brother Stan and sister Mary. Louis was born and raised in Cooks Creek. He spent three years in the Korean War after which he returned to Winnipeg to raise his family. He was employed by the Bowl-Arena for many years. He was a 10-pin champion and won numerous trophies. He loved fishing and was interested in baseball and football. Louis worked several years with 7-Up; then he was forced to give up his work at Old Dutch Foods due to cancer. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion. Special thanks to Dr. Ullyott, Judy, Dwight and Marge (downstairs). Prayer service will be held on Tuesday, March 30 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A graveside service will follow on Wednesday, March 31 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michaels Cooks Creek, MB. Donations may be made in Louis memory to the Humane Society or to a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
