ALBERT ILCHYNA Albert Ilchyna, beloved husband of Audrey, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2004 at the St. Anne Hospital at the age of 81 years. He was born in Hazelridge, MB on August 7, 1922 and was predeceased by his mother Mary and father Michael, stepmother Mary, brother Donald, grandson Clint and brother-in-law Ben. He will be sadly missed by wife Audrey and his nine children, Burnell, Norman (Dianne), Dennis (Janet), Donald (Georgette), Dianne (Ron), Larry (Gladys), Laurie, Gail (Craig), and Tracy (Brad). He also leaves to mourn 16 grandchildren, Tracey, Corey, Ashley, Chad, Kevin, Jaime, Blake, Mandy-Lee, Justin, Katlynn, Jaclyn, Breanne, Vanessa, Danica, Desmond and Brandon; also five great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicole, Danielle, Kyle and Aaron; brothers and sisters, Steffie, Peter, Tony (Eileen), Albina (Ken), Joyce (Ron) and Jerry (Gerry). Albert was born in Hazelridge, MB where he went to school. He helped with his parents farm until his early twenties. Afterwards, he ventured to various jobs which included working on the railway near Atikokan, ON; the power-line to Lac du Bonnet and cutting pulpwood. Albert and his wife of 53 years, Audrey, settled in the Anola area where they farmed and raised a family. Albert also worked at the Union Stock yards until his retirement after 28 years. Albert enjoyed farming, dancing, fishing, bingo, pool, cards and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. The family would sincerely like to thank Dr. Bissonette and the staff at Ste. Anne Hospital for their compassionate care. Memorial service will be held at the Anola Fellowship Chapel on Tuesday, March 30 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jack Cosens officiating. The Anola Fellowship Chapel is three miles east of Anola on Hwy. 15 and two miles south on Monominto Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Albert Ilchyna to the Ste.
