MATHILDE (MATTY) LOCHT (nee GEBHARDT) Peacefully on March 25, 2004, at Grace Hospital, our dear mother and grandmother, Matty, passed away. Matty was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Chris. She is mourned by her daughter Carole; son Randy (Joyce) granddaughters, Susan (Peter Falk) and Maria (Michael Reimer) and grandson John. Born in Bietigheim, Germany, in 1920, Matty immigrated to Canada as a young girl. On the Grand Beach train in 1942, she met her beloved husband Chris, and they were married the following year. Together they shared a wonderful life, with many trips to Europe and Honolulu. Matty will always be remembered for the love and devotion she gave her family. To her, family was everything. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held Monday, March 29 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrews River Heights United Church, 255 Oak.
