Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWANDA LOCKE It is with sadness that the family announces that Wanda Theresa Locke passed away at the age of 87, on Thursday, March 18, 2004 at the Health Sciences Centre. Wanda was born in Winnipeg on October 22, 1916, where she lived all her life. Wanda is survived by her son Robert Harlander-Locke (Mary) of St. Cloud, Minnesota and Patti Locke-Lewkowich (Barry) of Victoria, BC. She is also survived by her grandchildren, David, Stacey, Katherine and Michael; her sister-in-law Blythe Carter and her nieces, Rosalie Feather, Sandra Fox and Kathy Smith. Wanda was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Katherine Latawiec and her brothers, Casimir, Stanley, Ben and Frank and sisters, Mary and Jenny. Wanda was employed for several years by the Federal Government. She was also a devoted Christian who cherished her religious community. Wanda was very fond of music and had an excellent singing voice. She enjoyed being a past member of the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg R3C 4G2. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 29 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons St., St. Boniface (233-4949).
