MARJORIE WALLIS (SHEPPARD) -
Date of Passing: Mar 21, 2004
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARJORIE WALLIS (SHEPPARD) 1958 - 2004 Suddenly, but after a long and valiant battle, Marjorie left us on March 21, 2004 upon returning early from a trip to her beloved Mazatlan. Marjorie graduated from the University of Manitoba and worked for several years with Revenue Canada as an auditor before marrying and subsequently leaving this position to start a home based accounting practice and raise her children. She did a great job at both and when she was eventually stricken by breast cancer she never knew the word quit. Marjorie was a real fighter and was an inspiration to all that knew her. She will be badly missed by husband Ron and children, Lyndsey and Matthew. Marjorie is also survived by mom and dad, John and Ruth Sheppard of Westbank, BC and siblings, Teresa of Niles, MI, John (Aynsley) of Las Vegas, NV, and Cathy Arnason of Winnipeg along with her family of in-laws, Lorraine Wallis, Gerry and Pat Wallis, Linda and George Tsouras, and Bev and Mike Papageorgiou and numerous nephews and nieces. Marjorie especially enjoyed the many good times spent with all the Bramble neighbours past and present. They are a special bunch and a tremendous support to the family. I know that Marjorie would also like to remember and thank all the staff at the Victoria Hospital Oncology Clinic for their kindness and thoughtfulness. She always spoke of how wonderfully she was treated by all there. If anyone so wishes, donations in Marjories memory may be made to the above mentioned Clinic. A private family service will be held at Chapel Lawn.
