Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY LOVALLO (PASTA) At the West Park Manor Personal Care Home, on March 27, 2004, peacefully in her sleep, after a lengthy debilitation from Alzheimers disease. Born in Palermo, Sicily on January 26, 1907. She came to Canada in 1923. Married Sam on July 5, 1930. Predeceased by husband Sam on February 20, 1984. Her whole life was devoted to her husband, children and their families. Mom was the greatest fan and cheerleader as she followed her sons to their football and curling games. For many years she was famous for her Sunday Spaghetti dinners at her home with family and friends. She leaves to mourn three sons, Vince (Gail), Sam (Gladys), and Rick (Vini) two daughters, Doreen (Milt) Brown and Marie Turner (widow of Robert) six grandchildren, Monique (Brian) Light, Dana (Jeff) Vandal, Craig (Jennine) Brown, Cindy (Vince) LoPresti, Dawn Turner and Darren (Shawna) Turner; ten great-grandchildren, Simone, Renee, Aiden and Kieran Light; Kayleigh and Connor Brown; Nicole and Tiana LoPresti, and Devyn and Lindsay Turner; numerous nieces and nephews and special niece, Maria Santangelo. Thanks to the staff at West Park Manor for their kindness and loving care they gave to our mother for the past several years. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7, Alzheimer Society, Unit 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 or the charity of your choice. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 31 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow.
