October 23, 1950 - March 28, 2004 Suddenly on Sunday, March 28, 2004 at Concordia Hospital, our beloved husband and father passed away at the age of 53 years. He leaves to mourn his wife, Eveline (nee Berard), three sons, David Jr., Aron and Jonathan; father Frank Danby of Toronto, brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Millie of Barrie, ON, Richard and Nancy, Wooster, OH, sister-in-law Bev Danby of Virginia, mother-in-law Lea Berard, brothers-in-law and wives, George and Alexis, Eddie and Judy, Ron and Cathy, Gerald, special niece Michelle, many nieces, nephews and friends and "Buddies" Ginger, Missy, and Benny. He was predeceased by his mother Yvonne Danby and father-in-law Antoine Berard. David moved from Toronto to Winnipeg in 1975. While employed at the Ramada Inn, he met the love of his life, and on September 30, 1978, David and Eveline were married. They celebrated their 25th anniversary this past year. David was a loving husband and proud and caring Dad to his three sons. If he wasnt cheering for one of his boys at a sporting event, he was watching over them at Morse Place Community Club, where he was Past President. David loved to entertain family and friends with his delicious cooking skills. He also had a green thumb for gardening. He was well known and respected in the automotive field and was employed with Winnipeg Wheel Works. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or the Winnipeg Humane Society. A special thank you to the Paramedics, Fire Department and Concordia Hospital for the excellent care given. Korban Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 956-2193.
