GARTH GORY It is with profound sadness, that we mourn the sudden passing of our son, brother and friend, Garth, 43, who regaled us all with his wry humour and helpfulness, but fell on troubled times. He was so helpful to all but, unfortunately, in the end nobody was able to help him. His high school buds (Sisler) will remember him as the fun-loving north-end guy in the yellow Gremlin, a sensitive soul with a veneer of toughness and rebelliousness. He worked at Fournier Stands, then MTS and finally, Wesco Distribution. Dirt-biking was his big love in his teens, then street-biking. Reading was a passion, too, and Garth was a great conversationalist who could keep friends entertained for hours with his knowledge and wit. Some of his happiest times were spent with friends at the familys Falcon Lake cottage boating and golfing. More recently he spent much time walking dog, Nusch, in the dog park, enjoying his chats with fellow pet-owners. The haunting music of Kurt Cobaine was a favourite. His many friends, Brian and Debbie, Greg, Brad, Wayne, will remember Garth as a kind, generous person always willing to lend a hand. He also leaves to mourn, brother Brian, sister Patricia and partner Alta, father Nick and, the always-hopeful pillar of his support, Mom, Olive, Auntie Ollie and other relatives. Garth, we love you and will miss you. We gather strength knowing you are now at peace and in Gods hands. You will always be in our hearts. Special thanks to Constable Jeff in District 3 for such sensitive help in our cloud of grief. A gathering of friends and family (no service) will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Wednesday, March 31 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. to share memories. Donations in Garths memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
