NAOMI BLIXT Surrounded by love, with dignity and peace, Naomi Blixt went to be with her Lord on Sunday morning, March 28, 2004 at the Grace General Hospital. Naomi was born in Sprague on November 2, 1934. She was the third youngest of eleven children and was predeceased by her parents, Gustav and Laura Blixt. Left to mourn her loss is her sister and best friend Alice; brothers, Wilbur (Helen), Ray (Olga), Sam (Josie), John (Alice) as well as many nieces and nephews. Naomi was employed at the Winnipeg Credit Bureau for 28 years retiring in 1993. Her new found freedom was spent travelling extensively with Alice. She enjoyed volunteer work, gardening and going to Horticulture meetings. She was an active member of Calvary Temple. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, in the Full Gospel Cemetery, Sprague, MB with Rev. Funk officiating. A memorial service will be held in Calvary Temple Buntain Chapel, 400 Hargrave St., on Saturday, April 3 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bruce Martin and H.H. Barber officiating. To all who visited, sent flowers and cards, grateful thanks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Place Personal Care Home, 1325 Erin St., Winnipeg, MB R3E 3R6.
