CLIFFORD (PAULIE) WAYNE SANDERSON 1955 - 2004 Peacefully, after a short and courageous battle with cancer, Clifford Sanderson better known as Paulie passed away on March 28, 2004 at the Selkirk General Hospital. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving mother Marina Daniels of Peguis, MB; his special friend Lori Thomas of Selkirk; father James Sanderson; brothers, Danny Daniels, Rick (Janice) and Peter of Peguis, Allan (Gloria), David (Allison) all of Selkirk, Herbert (Darlene) of Thompson; sisters, Marlene Sanderson of Calgary, AB, Rachel Thickfoot (Garnet) of Fisher River, MB. He is also survived by his special aunt Ruby Olafson; uncle Robert Sanderson (Gladys) of Selkirk and aunt Doreen McPherson (Don) of Peguis; along with numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Clifford was predeceased by his brother Ryan in 1976. Clifford was born and raised in Selkirk where he resided until his demise. He worked at several places in the town of Selkirk, where he was well known and respected. Prayers will be held on Thursday, April 1, at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 2 at 2:00 p.m. also in the chapel with Rev. Barry Bear officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Peters Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Dr. Fuchs and nurses, Lara Cooley and Lynn Perks at the Selkirk General Hospital for all their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Selkirk Food Bank, 730 Sophia St., where Clifford volunteered many hours. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
