ROBERT LAWRENCE HENSON (May 3, 1929 - March 25, 2004) With peace, dignity and love, after a courageous struggle, our father, Bob Henson passed away in his 75th year, on Thursday, March 25, 2004. Survived by his children, Debbie, Patti, Donna, Bob, and Nancy and their families including three great-grandchildren; brother Clarence; many nieces, nephews and friends, particularly Jim and Hilda Barr. He was predeceased by his mother Alice; father Herbert; brothers, George, Albert, Harry and Bill; sister Emma; wife Doris mother of his children, Barbara and son Darren. Born and raised in Brandon, Bob worked for the Fire Department for 18 years. He also resided in North Vancouver, returning to Brandon to be close to his family. He was a longtime member and past president of the Eagles, and an avid sports fan, especially hockey and soccer. His passion was watching a game on TV. The family wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Eleanor and the team in Palliative Care at Hillcrest. Your care, compassion and guidance were a great comfort to our dad and us during a very difficult time. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
