DIANA GRAHAM (EDWARDS) Peacefully on Sunday, March 28, 2004, Diana Graham passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 87. Diana is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Archie; her sons, David (Beverley) of New Orleans and John (Margaret) Graham of Winnipeg; her grandchildren, Pamela (Jason) Appe, Michael (Noelle) Graham, Neil Graham, Shelagh and Heather Graham; her great-grandchildren Chase and Brooke Appe; and her niece Norma Turner. Her parents, John and Diana Edwards, brother John Edwards and sister Margaret Edwards predeceased her. Born and raised in Dundee, she spent most of the Second World War as a motorcycle dispatch rider for the fire service. After the war, she and Archie made a life on RAF Bases in the Far East, Middle East and Britain. After coming to Canada in 1957 Diana worked as furrier and a medical assistant, but it was as a Real Estate Agent that she flourished, touching the lives of her many clients and friends. She also had a passion for art; even before retirement she spent much of her free time oil painting and was a member of the St. James Art Club. Diana was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed. A sincere thank you is extended to all the staff at the Grace Hospital and at the Palliative Care Ward at the St. Boniface Hospital. Thanks so much for all your care and support. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. James Presbyterian Church, 1476 Portage Ave. with Rev. Beth McCutcheon officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Ward of the St. Boniface Hospital, 409 Tache Ave, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6 or the Grace Hospital, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7.
