HELENE DELARONDE (nee LAVALLEE) 1918 - 2004 Peacefully on April 1, 2004 Helene passed away at Tache Centre. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Alexandre (1987) three sons, Archie (2000), Denis (2000), Noel (1971) and a daughter Rachel (1982). Remaining to cherish her memory are her children, Darius (Jeannine), Rosalie Gulay (Oleh), Andrea Hamilton (Doug), Jackie, Ron (Mary-Ann) and Norman (Marion) daughter-in-law Georgette; son-in-law Cliff Cowie; 12 grandchildren and their families; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Evelyn, Sister Irene, Anna Devlin (Dan) one brother Fr. Guy; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mom enjoyed gardening, playing cards and bingo. She was a very good cook. Her faith was important to her and she lived her life accordingly. Prayers will be held on Monday, April 12 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church, followed by memorial mass at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. Guy Lavallee, O.M.I. assisted by Fr. Rene Digba. Cremation has taken place. Interment in the parish cemetery following mass. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the care givers at Tache Centre for all their care and kindness towards Mom. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Moms memory to Alzheimer Society, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 or Tache Centre, 185 Despins Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2B3.
