MARILYN ANN EINARSON Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on April 1, 2004, Marilyn Ann Einarson, widow of Baldur Einarson, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Marilyn was born on July 31, 1938 in Winnipeg and lived her life in Winnipegs West End. She attended Principal Sparling School and Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Institute. She was employed at The Manitoba Motor Vehicle Branch prior to beginning to raise her family. Marilyn was an active volunteer involved with the 10th Winnipeg Guide Troop, 6th Winnipeg Cub Pack, teaching Sunday School at Harstone Memorial United Church and serving on The Parents Association as well as other parent volunteer roles at Sargent Park School for almost 20 years. Marilyn also enjoyed many crafts, including knitting, sewing, needle point, cross stitch and paper toll, as well as camping and bowling. Her primary focus was always her family and she was always interested and involved in the lives of her children. As her health gradually declined and she was unable to continue her hobbies and activities, her focus on her family remained strong. Her greatest joy in recent years was the arrival of her grandchildren, Jennifer and Kristjan. Marilyn is survived by her mother Jessie Stanbridge; son Douglas and wife Karen; daughter Donna; and grandchildren, Jennifer and Kristjan. She is also survived by one uncle Tom Harcus; brothers-in-law, Oscar (Sonia), Steve (Norma), Harold (Bernice) and Russell Lamoureux, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Baldur in 1986, father Mathew James Stanbridge in 1995 and brother Mathew James Stanbridge in 1958 Funeral service will be held Monday, April 5 at 1:00 p.m. in the Thomson Funeral Chapel, 669 Broadway, with Rev.
