Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRUCE EDWARD EMMS Born April 3, 1948 It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our husband and father on Monday, March 29, 2004. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Sally; children, Clayton (Jackie), Tammy (Nolan), Patrick, Shane (Stefanie) and Arthur; grandchildren, Chantelle, Devon, Katelyn and Megan; father Arthur; sisters, Lorraine (Allan), Beverley (Al), Margaret (Roy) and Diana (Mike) numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Bruce was predeceased by his mother Lillian; step son Trevor and infant brother. Bruce was born in Winnipeg and raised on the family farm in Ideal, MB. He was a mechanic by trade and was employed by Kleysen Transport at the time of his passing. Bruce was a man with few words of the heart, but was very proud of his childrens achievements whether big or small. Anyone who visited with Bruce could count on hearing a lively story or two, along with a few laughs. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing at Mantagao Lake with his family and friends. Prayers and viewing will be held on Sunday, April 4 at 7:30 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Home in Teulon. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 5 at 1:30 p.m. in MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall, with interment at the Inwood Community Cemetery. Lunch to follow at Inwood Memorial Hall. Pallbearers will be Clayton Emms, Patrick Emms, Shane Emms, Aaron Ansell, Tom Emms and Danny Kaschyshyn. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up at South Interlake Credit Union, Teulon, MB in the name of Sally and Arthur Emms. A heart of gold stopped beating, hard working hands went to rest, God took you home so suddenly, you are one of the best. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall in care of arrangements.
