ELIZABETH (BETTY) JOAN GILL (THORNTON) Formerly of Winnipeg, MB Born in Wapella, SK, July 3, 1906, she is survived by her sister Mrs. Evelyn (Billie) Murdoch of Toronto; her loving daughter Betty Lord (Jim) of Shawnigan Lake and grandchildren, Pat Laurie (Dave) and Jim Lord (Jennifer) of Victoria, John Lord (Janene) of Australia and great-grandchildren, Jonathan Laurie, Megan and Brendan Lord and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Percy and sister Gladys (Tag) Henry. Memorial service will be held at a later date. Her ashes will be interred at St. Johns Cathedral Cemetery in Winnipeg in the family plot. I want to thank all the nursing staff at the Priory (Hiscox Unit) especially Beechwood side for all their kindness and care.
