MUKHTIAR SINGH SIDHU August 3, 1931 March 29, 2004 It is with great sadness the family announce Mr. Sidhu peacefully passed away on March 29, 2004. He was predeceased by his wife Jaswant Kaur Sidhu and son Gurtej Singh Sidhu. He was born in Sidhwan Bet Distt. Ludhiana (India). He was a teacher for 32 years in Punjab (India). He immigrated to Canada in 1988 and settled in Winnipeg in 1989. In his time in Canada he enjoyed visiting back and forth back home. He will be sadly missed by his sons, Tarntej Singh Sidhu (India), Gurprem Singh Sidhu (Winnipeg), Gurpreet Singh Sidhu (Winnipeg), Gurjit Singh Sidhu (Mississauga, ON), Sukhjinder Pal Sidhu (Winnipeg), their families and grandchildren. He will also be missed by his friends and relatives in India and Canada. Funeral services will be held at Garry Memorial Funeral Home (925-1120) 1291 McGillivray Blvd. on Saturday, April 3 at 2:00 p.m. Bhog Sri Akhand Path will be held at 5:00 p.m., same day, at Sikh Centre Gurughar on Scurfield Blvd.
