We the family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital for all their care, kindness and support. Avo You were a mother, grandma and friend, We always hoped your life would never end. You had many close calls over all these years, But none of them brought us to this many tears. Although you suffered and were always in pain, You proved the doctors wrong time and time again. A stronger woman, Ive never met An independent woman that I will never forget. A memory sharper than anyone I know, Only you could tell stories from decades ago. A sharp witted tongue never did fail, You would leave us stunned with no prevail. All the times Id lay my head on your lap, Or lie on your bed and take a quick nap. To this day youd play with my hair, Nothing felt better when I was full of despair. When I was lost with no one to call, You were the one who knew it all. The times with you were feelings of bliss, Each laugh, each tear, each hug I will miss. I wont forget your crackers and tea, Chocolate milk and crackers for me. To this day when Im feeling sick, Nothing cures me like crackers and milk. I know its now your time to leave, And now our time has come to grieve. I wish I wasnt left behind, You, Avo, are one of a kind. Poem written by: Kristin Galante CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
