Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILFRED DARCY MacDOUGALL September 27, 1939 - April 3, 2004 Surrounded by love, with dignity and peace, Wilfred DArcy MacDougall went to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 3, 2004 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 64 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Bess; his son Edward, his daughter Kathy (Doug), his grandchildren, sisters, brother, and numerous nephews and nieces. Wilfred was predeceased by his sons, Wilfred George and Wayne James, his parents, and two sisters. Wilf left Yellowknife at the age of 15 and eventually pursued a career with the City of Winnipeg Works and Operations Department. He was proud to be a member of the Royal Canadian Legion (Osborne Branch) but his favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren. Viewing will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel located at 724 Selkirk Avenue. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel with Rev. Laurie Daigle officiating. Cremation and a private interment will follow at a later date.
