NETTIE BADIUK (nee MYDANIUK) April 24, 1944 - April 3, 2004 After a brief struggle with cancer, Nettie passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre. Nettie is survived by her husband Jack and son Ted; sisters, Sophie Zushman of Vita and Mary Trylinski of Winnipeg; brothers, John of Steinbach and Nick of Sundown; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father John in November, 1988; mother Lena in July, 1999; sister Olga Tourand in July, 1981. Nettie will be fondly remembered as the best homemaker. She enjoyed baking, keeping in touch with her friends, especially Joyce. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 8, at 11:00 a.m. also at Cropo Chapel with Rev. Fr. Cornell Zubritsky officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill and Dennis Badiuk, Boris Myskowsky, Lenard Zushman, Bill Nanka and Nestor Chubaty.
