Bud leaves to celebrate his life, his wife Mary; his children, Murray, Kim (Steve) Baker, James (Judy) and daughter-in-law Tracy; as well as his six grandchildren, Kaitlin, Jordan, Kelsey, Joshua, Brandon and Lauren; his father Joe Hawkins; his brothers, Bill (Sandra) Cameron, Russ (Betsy) and Ken; his sisters, Frances Cameron, Dorothy Lewis, Susan (Jerry) and Nancy. Bud was predeceased by his first wife Vera and his mother Helen Hawkins. Buds family was the center of his life and he spent many holidays and good times with them. Bud was blessed to have the chance to marry the two loves of his life. He first dated Mary as a teen and she re-entered his life again, in 2002. They were married in September 2002 and have enjoyed the past year and a half, rekindling their love. Bud was married to Vera for 46 wonderful years. He has had a wonderful, happy life with these two women. Your memory is our keepsake With which we will never part. God has you in His keeping, We have you in our heart. A memorial service to celebrate Buds life and love will be held on Thursday, April 8 at 12:30 p.m. at the Winnipeg Christian Centre, 230 Provencher Blvd. A gathering of family and friends will follow.
