EDWARD PITURA As the sun was shining on the morning of Thursday, April 1, 2004 Eds life peacefully slipped away. He kissed Elizabeth, his wife of nearly 52 years farewell and rejoined his creator. He passed away due to complications of diabetes. We celebrate Eds life and give thanks for such a peaceful, gentle death. This was the end that this loving, gentle man deserved. Left to cherish his memory are his four children and their families, Jim Pitura of North Vancouver, BC, Judi Tardi (Tom) of Maple Ridge, BC, Jerry Pitura (Guylaine) of Ste. Anne, MB, and Jeff Pitura (Nuiok) of The Woodlands, TX; six grandsons, Tyler and Cam Tardi, Storm, Marty and Jim-Bob Pitura and new baby Eric Pitura. May the footprints we leave behind Show that weve walked in kindness toward the earth and every living thing. May our lives be a dance of celebration And may the wind broadcast peace to all our childrens children We will celebrate Eds life on Saturday, April 10 at Snodgrass Funeral Chapel, Okotoks, AB at 3:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to join us and help to carry the burden of our loss.
