Friesen, aged 84 years of Morden formerly of Winkler, MB and Thornhill, MB went to his eternal rest. He leaves to mourn his passing MaryAnne Friesen (nee Thiessen) three daughters, Ruth White and companion Ed Chudrick of Winnipeg, Elvira and Albert Enns of Romania, Grace and Vic Rempel of Winkler; seven sons, David and Kathy of Winnipeg, Dick and Joyce of Kenora, Ron and Fran of Carberry, Harry and Kim of Calgary, Alan of Brandon, Warren and Louise of Edmonton, Stephen of Chemainus, BC; 21 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters; one brother. He was predeceased by his parents; one brother and one grandchild. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 7 at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and at the chapel prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 8 at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Morris Vincent officiating. Interment will follow at the Winkler Cemetery, Winkler. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan, Box 778, Winkler, MB R6W 4A8.
