LEONARD W. CONNOR After a lengthy battle, Len Connor, age 74, succumbed to his illnesses at St. Boniface Hospital on April 6, 2004. Len kept his sense of humour to the end, and continued to put a bright face on his struggle. His health problems were to a large degree caused or exacerbated by years of cigarette smoking. Len was born in London, England on January 10, 1930. After swimming competitively for England, he served in the Royal Navy in the 1950s, and immigrated to Canada with his wife Jean in 1957. He worked at TCPL for over thirty years where he made many lasting friendships which he valued dearly. Through his years of work, he lived in many locales in Canada. Len is survived by his wife Jean, children Kim (Michael), Mark (Angela), David (Carolynn), Paul (Lori) and Christopher, and grandchildren Anna, Marika, Nicholas and Claire. The family wishes to thank Jack Flood and John Kolodrupski for their support. At Lens request, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
