MARILYN DOWHAN On April 14, 2004, Marilyn Dowhan passed away peacefully at the River East Personal Care Home. She was predeceased by her parents, Katie and Dan Shack; her first husband John Derkuch and her more recent husband Stan Dowhan. Funeral services will be at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church at Watt and Munroe in Winnipeg on Monday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Darren Kawiuk officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Marilyn leaves to mourn step-brother Jerry Shack from Hanna, AB; step-sister Katherine Sirski from Dauphin, MB; aunts, Nell Doll from Prince George, BC and Teenie Ripak from Winnipeg and numerous nieces and nephews. Thanks to the fine care givers at River East in Winnipeg and Tudor House in Selkirk, MB who so kindly looked after Marilyn, and made her comfortable these past few years. May she rest in peace.
