Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAGBART "BART" LAURITSEN April 27, 1921 - April 7, 2004 Family is saddened to announce the peaceful passing of their beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Bart Lauritsen on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at the Health Sciences Centre. Bart leaves to cherish his many memories, his wife of 59 years, Carla; his daughters, Anny (Michael) Rollwagen, Mariane; his grandchildren, Suzanne (David) Weiner of Chicago, Scott Rollwagen of Toronto, Chris (Sharlene) Rollwagen and "the apples of his eye", his great-grandchildren, Madyson and Evan; as well as his sister, Ingrid of Denmark. The family would like to send thanks to the Paramedics, as well as the Emergency staff of the Victoria Hospital and the doctors and nurses of the MICU at the Health Sciences Centre, with a special thanks to Arlene. In accordance with Barts wishes, no formal service will be held. The family invites you to join them for a time of fellowship and refreshments to celebrate Barts life from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13 at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victoria Hospital Foundation or a charity of ones choice.
