ARTHUR (PUDDY) BESTLAND May 20, 1940 - April 10, 2004 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Art Bestland at the DeSalaberry District Health Centre in St. Pierre-Jolys, MB on Saturday, April 10, 2004 at the age of 63 years. Art will be lovingly remembered by his wife Carmelle, his daughters, Sherry (Paul), Monica (Richard) his son Bradley; his grandsons, Stephane, Colin, Dillon, Shayne, William, Tristan, Jordan and Riley; his granddaughter Chloe; his brothers, John (Gaylene), Orson (Gloria), Randy (Lynn) and Roy; his sisters, Sophie (Jack), Glenda (Bob), Cindy (Jack), and Wendy (Darcy) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends especially, Alice Nault and family, Ernie Tanchuk and Orvil Anderson. Art was born and raised in Brunkild, MB and had resided in St. Pierre-Jolys for the last 33 years. Art always lived his life in the moment and never worried about tomorrow. He had spent much of his life travelling the highways of Manitoba in search of tractors and antiques. Through his journeys, he had made many friends and had touched the lives of many people. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Schroeder and the CancerCare team at the Health Sciences Centre as well as the doctors and staff at the DeSalaberry District Health Centre in St. Pierre-Jolys. Memorial services for Art will be held at the St. Pierre Roman Catholic Church in St. Pierre-Jolys on Thursday, April 15 at 7:00 p.m. Fr. Marcel Carriere will celebrate the memorial mass assisted by Fr. Benjamin Kazadi-Shabani. Private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Arts memory to the Arthritis Society of Manitoba, 105-386 Broadway, Winnipeg, R3C 3R6 or to CancerCare Manitoba, ON109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, R3E 0V9.
