JOHN HANSELL It is with sadness the family announces the death of John Hansell on Tuesday, April 6, 2004, at St. Pauls Hospital in Saskatoon at the age of 92 years. John is survived by his three daughters, Margaret Anne (Ed) Moroz, Christine (Wells) McLean, and Cathy Hansell; seven grandchildren, Gerald (Michele) Moroz, Eileen (Elvin) Steinke, Ted Moroz, David (Peri) Moroz, Ronald (Cathy) McLean, Wellesley (Bonnie) McLean, Desmond (Kristina) McLean and 12 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Christine, the mother of his children; and by his second wife Noreen. Dad was gifted with a beautiful tenor singing voice and belonged to many church choirs over the years including St. Michaels parish in Saskatoon. He was also gifted with a great sense of humor and was able to make people laugh right up to the end. Dad had been a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years. The family would like to express our sincere thanks to the caregivers at Porteous Lodge who took such good care of dad for the last two months. Our thanks also to the staff at St. Pauls Hospital for their gentle kindness to dad and ourselves during his final days here on earth. The Memorial Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Remi Hebert on Wednesday, April 14, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church (8 Moore Pl.). Interment of cremated remains will be at a later date in Winnipeg. May he rest in peace. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mervin G. Oleksyn, ACADIA DRIVE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 955-1600.
