TRIJNTJE (TINA) STUVE (nee BRAAKSMA) Easter Sunday, Christ rose and took his child home. Early April 11, 2004 peacefully at home, surrounded by those dearest to her, Tina passed away. She was born on May 1, 1926 in Morra-Licessens, Friesland, The Netherlands and was educated there. In April 1951, she married Klaas Stuve and in July of the same year, they immigrated to Canada. Settling in Winnipeg, MB, where as a homemaker, she and her loving husband, raised a family of five boys and one girl. After their retirement in 1988, they spent their summers at home in Winnipeg and travelled to Holland for most winters. Tina will be greatly missed by her husband of 53 years Klaas; sons, Bill (Vivian), Ike (Cheryl), John (Giselle), Gary (Jacqueline), Ron (Marianne) daughter Jenny; her 18 grand-children; and her four sisters; and one brother in Holland. Tina was predeceased by her parents, one sister and two brothers. Dont grieve but sing what a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer. Pallbearers will be Christopher, David, Matthew, Robert, Michael and Kevin. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon, Ryan, Laura, Christina, Tanya, Lyndin, Travis, Jason, Ginette, and Marc. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 14 at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road. A public viewing will be one half hour prior to service. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
