She was predeceased by her husband Albert, they were married over 40 years and loving daughter and son-in-law Gerry and Wayne Hanna. Emily lived her whole life in Winnipeg, she spent and enjoyed many long hours with her painting, she loved her bowling and was an avid reader and watcher of television until her loss of sight. She always talked about the girls of the sewing circle and her lifelong friends Pat and Marge. Mom loved her walks and with a show of determination obtained her first drivers license at the age of 69. Her infectious smile, supportive and positive nature will be missed but not forgotten by her family. Mom loved to entertain her grandchildren and later the great-grandchildren and always showed an interest in their activities. Lorraine would like to thank the caring staff at Vista Park Lodge, with very special thanks to Claudette "Alice".
