Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES CLARK COWELL On Saturday, April 10, 2004 at the Victoria Hospital, Charles Cowell, beloved husband of Joan died at the age of 82 years. Charles served with the PPCLI during The Second World War when he met and married his wife Joan in England. He was employed with the C.N.R. as a carpenter with Bridge and Building, retiring in 1985 with 44 years of service. He was a member of the A.N. & A.F. on Garry Street. Charles leaves to cherish his memory his wife Joan; son Colin (Marlene) Cowell; daughters, Gale (Ian) Kane and Karen Bulmer all of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Tamara (Brent), Clinton, Amanda, Stuart (Christina), Timothy, Russell (Ian) great-grandson Mackenzie; three sisters and one brother. A private memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 13 at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave. with interment at Garry Memorial Park. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the nurses and doctors at the Victoria Hospital for their kindness and care.
